AYSO PHILOSOPHIES

Everyone Plays
Every player in Region 1200 plays 3 quarters before any teammate plays 4. Our V.I.P. program also gives children with special needs the opportunity to play soccer.

Open Registration
No local boundaries. No try-outs and no cuts. All that is required is interest and enthusiasm.

Balanced Teams
No stacked teams. All teams are re-created each season with a cross-section of talent and experience.

Positive Coaching
We train our coaches to offer positive instruction and encouagement rather than negative criticism.

Good Sportsmanship
AYSO strives to create a positive environment based on respect rather than a win-at-all-costs attitude.

Player Development
Enjoyment of the game for the players is enhanced by improvement of technical skills and better understanding of soccer tactics. Our coaching
program is focused on player development.

AYSO SOCCER
Everyone Plays!
AYSO Soccer has a program to be sure everyone in our communtiy can play soccer.Our VIP ( Very Important Player) program is specifically for children with special needs.

This Program provides a quality soccer experience for children and young adults whose disabilities prevent them form participating on mainstream teams. VIP teams may include kids with Down Sysdrome, Autism, Cerebral palsy, Visual or emotional impairments or conditions.
AYSO recognizes these kids need to feel a sense of belonging and acceptance. These teams are typically small and coed. Teams are balanced by size, mobility, and ability rather than age.

OUR goal for every player through the VIP program is:
- Have fun playing soccer
-Learn teamwork and fair play
-Increase positive self-esteem
-Become more physically fit
-Meet and be comfortable with new people

This program has been very successful for the past 6 years here in the desert. We want MORE KIDS to join in the fun.

Uniform Replacement Parts
It is possible for you to replace lost or
damaged shorts or socks for your uniform.
You must, however, purchase the exact
same style that we gave you at the
start of the season. The shorts are black,
